1. Contract language
The contract language is German.
2. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers in the online shop of Lena Katharina Axtmann (trading under the brand Glacier & Aurealis) .

In accordance with §19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged.
4. Conclusion of contract
By placing an order, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the goods. The contract is concluded as soon as an order confirmation has been sent by email. The goods remain the property of the company until full payment of the purchase price.
5. Prices & Delivery Conditions
All prices are final prices according to the small business regulation § 19 UStG. No sales tax is shown.
- Shipping within the EU & Switzerland
- Within Germany: Free, insured standard shipping
- Within the EU: Paid, insured standard shipping (€14.49)
- International shipping: Paid, insured standard shipping (€19.49) - Import duties, customs, or taxes may apply to international shipments. These costs are borne by the recipient.
- Shipping to USA & Canada: Paid, insured standard shipping (€26.49) - Import duties, customs, or taxes may apply to international shipments. These costs are borne by the recipient.
- Shipping to Australia & New Zealand: Paid, insured standard shipping (€27.49) - Import duties, customs, or taxes may apply to international shipments. These costs are borne by the recipient.
- International orders may cause customs delays.
- The customer bears the return shipping costs.
- Goods are shipped with DHL (Paket S) or a comparable shipping service provider.
- The goods are insured. Customers are requested to also send returns insured.
- Shipping to packing stations, post office boxes, APO, and FPO addresses is not possible.
- Orders received on weekends or public holidays will be processed and shipped on the following business days. Unforeseen circumstances with our delivery partners may lead to delivery delays. In such cases, we assume no liability.
- Each piece of Glacier & Aurealis jewelry is prepared for shipping with the utmost care. The stated delivery times are estimates. Depending on the destination country, customs clearance, or seasonally increased shipping volume, longer delivery times may occasionally occur. However, many orders arrive earlier.

Please note: Jewelry with individual additional gold plating (2.5 µm, 5 µm, or 10 µm) usually extends the delivery time by about 1–2 weeks, as the finishing is done after the order is placed.
5.1 Delivery Times
In-Stock Products
- Germany: 3–7 business days
- EU: 7–16 business days
- International: 7–20 business days
Out-of-Stock Products
- 15–30 business days (estimated)
- Delivery time will be displayed on the product page.
Custom-Made and Personalized Jewelry
- Delivery time will be communicated individually.
- Additional gilding or other customizations may extend the delivery time.
Note:
- During holidays, company vacations, or periods of high order volume (e.g., sales promotions or the pre-Christmas season), delivery times may be extended.
5.2 Undeliverable Shipments & Returns to Parcel Shops
If a shipment deposited at a parcel shop for collection is not picked up within the period set by the shipping service provider, or if a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the shipment will be returned to us.
In these cases, we offer two options:
Option 1: Reshipment
The customer can request redelivery within 14 days of our notification. The request must be made by email. The shipping costs for redelivery will be borne by the customer.
Option 2: Refund
If we do not receive a response within the deadline or if the customer wishes a refund, we will refund the purchase amount minus the actual shipping costs incurred for both outward and return shipping. This also applies if the shipping to the customer was originally free, as we still incurred shipping costs. If the shipping service provider charges additional fees for returning the package to us, we reserve the right to deduct these costs from the refund amount as well.
Important Notes:
- For custom-made jewelry or special orders, there is no right of withdrawal according to §312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB, therefore a refund is excluded.
- We assume no liability for delivery delays or non-deliveries resulting from incorrect address details provided by the customer or delays on the part of the shipping service provider.
- The customer is obliged to provide a correct and complete delivery address when placing an order. Incorrect address details may lead to additional costs, which will be charged to the customer. If the customer can prove to us that they provided the correct address and the package could still not be delivered due to an error by the shipping service provider, we will cover the redelivery costs for the package.
6. Custom-made and individualized jewelry
- Custom-made or individualized jewelry particularly includes products that are manufactured or modified at the explicit request of the customer. This includes, for example, additional gold plating (e.g., 2.5 µm, 5 µm, or 10 µm), engravings, special sizes, or other individual adjustments.
- The delivery time depends on the type and scope of the desired individualization and will be communicated to the customer before the contract is concluded or upon request.
- According to § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB, there is no right of withdrawal for individually manufactured jewelry or jewelry clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer.
- Minor, commercially customary deviations may occur if technically or production-wise necessary, provided they do not impair the agreed quality and value of the jewelry.
- The production or processing of the custom-made item will only begin after explicit confirmation of the individual design.
7. Payment Terms
The following payment methods are available:
Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro
Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
Online Payment Systems: PayPal
Payments are processed via Shopify Payments or PayPal.
8. Right of Withdrawal & Returns
Consumers have the right to return the goods within fourteen days without giving any reasons.
The period begins upon receipt of the goods by the customer or an authorized recipient (e.g., a neighbor). The goods are considered delivered as soon as they have been handed over at the delivery address provided by the customer or to a person authorized by the customer (e.g., a neighbor).
In the case of a partial delivery, the period begins upon receipt of the last item.
The customer bears the return shipping costs and is responsible for insured return shipping. Uninsured shipments are at the customer's own risk.
The jewelry may only be tried on, but not worn. The customer is liable for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling that was not necessary for checking the quality, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
The goods must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging.
Damaged or worn goods are excluded from returns.
The refund to the original payment method will be made after successful inspection of the goods (within fourteen days).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please send us an email to support@glacieraurealis.com or write to us via our chatbot. Please provide all necessary information (name & address; order number & purchase date; items you wish to return; confirmation that the jewelry was only worn for fitting, is undamaged, and is in its original, intact jewelry box).

10. Warranty & Care Instructions
The statutory warranty of 2 years applies, which covers material or manufacturing defects.
Not covered by the warranty are:
- Natural wear & scratches from use
- Silver oxidation (tarnishing) - This is a natural process that can be prevented with proper care.
- Mechanical damage due to impacts, pressure, or improper use
- Loss of stones due to improper handling
Care Instructions:
- Avoid contact with water, perfume & cosmetics
- No direct contact with chemicals or salt water
- Store jewelry best in its original box
- Cleaning with a silver polishing cloth is recommended
If a defect is due to a manufacturing error, the item will be replaced or repaired. Please contact us with any questions.
11. Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of the company until full payment has been received.
12. Liability for Content & Links, and Disclaimer
We are responsible for our own content on this website. No liability is assumed for linked external sites.
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
For slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the customer can regularly rely. In these cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Further liability for slight negligence is excluded. Mandatory statutory claims under the Product Liability Act remain unaffected.
Disclaimer for Force Majeure:
- No liability for delays or non-fulfillment of obligations due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, official orders, war, strikes, power outages).
- In such cases, deadlines will be extended by the duration of the impediment.
- If the impediment lasts longer than 14 days, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract.
13. Dispute Resolution
We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Legal Basis and Jurisdiction
The legal basis for the General Terms and Conditions is German law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is Pforzheim, provided the customer is a merchant. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
15. Amendment to the General Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend or adjust these General Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes shall only apply to future orders and shall not affect contracts already concluded. Material changes to the General Terms and Conditions will be published on our website.
16. Storage of the contract text
We do not store the contract text, but it can be printed or saved before placing the order.
17. Final Provisions
Should any clause of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties undertake to replace this clause with a valid one that comes closest to the meaning and purpose of the invalid provision.
