1. Contract language
The contract language is German.
2. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers in the online shop of Lena Katharina Axtmann (trading under the brand Glacier & Aurealis) .

In accordance with §19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged.
4. Conclusion of contract
By placing an order, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the goods. The contract is concluded as soon as an order confirmation has been sent by email. The goods remain the property of the company until full payment of the purchase price.
5. Prices & Delivery Terms
All prices are final prices in accordance with the small business regulation according to § 19 UStG (German VAT Act). No VAT is shown.
- Shipping within the EU & Switzerland
- Within Germany: Free, insured standard shipping
- Within the EU: paid, insured standard shipping (€14.49)
- International shipping: Standard insured shipping (fee applies, €19.49) - Import duties, customs fees, or taxes may apply to international shipments. These costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
- The customer bears the return shipping costs.
- The goods will be shipped via DHL (Paket S) or a comparable shipping service provider.
- The goods are insured. Customers are requested to also send returns with insurance.
- Shipping to parcel lockers, post office boxes, APO and FPO addresses is not possible.
- Orders received on weekends or public holidays will be processed and shipped on the following business days. Unforeseen circumstances at our delivery partners may lead to delivery delays. We accept no liability in such cases.
5.1 Delivery times
Products in stock:
- Within Germany: 3-5 business days delivery time for orders placed Monday to Friday. Orders received before 12 noon will be processed the same day.
- EU: 5-10 working days delivery time for orders placed Monday to Friday. Orders received before 12 noon will be processed the same day.
- International: 7-14 business days delivery time for orders placed Monday to Friday. Orders received before 12 noon will be processed the same day.
Backorders: Delivery times will be extended accordingly and are indicated in the product descriptions. Shipping will take place as soon as the product is available again (approx. 30 working days).
Please note that shipments may take longer during holiday periods or sale seasons.
5.2 Undeliverable shipments & parcel shop returns
If a shipment left at the parcel shop for collection is not picked up within the period specified by the shipping service provider, or if a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the shipment will be returned to us.
In these cases, we offer two options:
Option 1: Resend
The customer can within You can request redelivery within 14 days of receiving our notification. The request must be made via email. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the redelivery.
Option 2: Refund
If no response is received within the deadline or the customer requests a refund, we will refund the purchase price. less the actual shipping costs incurred for both the outbound and return shipments. This also applies if shipping to the customer was originally free, as we still incurred shipping costs. If the shipping provider charges additional fees for returning the package to us, we reserve the right to deduct these costs from the refund amount as well.
Important instructions:
- For individually made jewelry or special orders, there is no right of withdrawal according to §312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB, therefore a refund is excluded.
- We accept no liability for delivery delays or non-deliveries resulting from incorrect address information provided by the customer or delays on the part of the shipping service provider.
- The customer is obligated to provide a correct and complete delivery address when placing an order. Incorrect address information may result in additional costs, which will be charged to the customer. If the customer can prove to us that they provided the correct address and the package could not be delivered due to an error by the shipping provider, we will cover the redelivery costs. Â
6. Payment Terms
The following payment methods are available:
Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro
Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
Online payment systems: PayPal
Payments are processed via Shopify Payments or PayPal.
6. Right of withdrawal & return
Consumers have the right to return the goods within fourteen days without giving any reason .
The delivery period begins upon receipt of the goods by the customer or an authorized recipient (e.g., a neighbor). The goods are considered delivered as soon as they have been handed over to the delivery address specified by the customer or to a person authorized by the customer (e.g., a neighbor).
In the case of a partial delivery, the deadline begins upon receipt of the last item.
The customer bears the return shipping costs and is responsible for insured return shipping. Uninsured shipments are at the customer's own risk.
The jewelry may only be tried on, not worn. The customer is liable for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling that was not necessary to examine their condition, properties, and functionality.
The goods must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging.
Damaged or worn goods are excluded from return.
Refunds to the original payment method will be issued after successful inspection of the goods (within fourteen days).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please send us an email to support@glacieraurealis.com or contact us via our chatbot. Please provide all required information (name & address; order number & purchase date; item(s) you wish to return; confirmation that the jewelry was only tried on, is undamaged, and is in its original, unopened jewelry box).

7. Warranty & Care Instructions
The statutory warranty of 2 years applies, covering material or manufacturing defects.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
- Natural wear and tear & scratches from use
- Silver oxidation (tarnishing) - This is a natural process that can be prevented through proper care.
- Mechanical damage caused by impacts, pressure or improper use
- Stone loss due to improper handling
Care instructions:
- Avoid contact with water, perfume & cosmetics
- No direct contact with chemicals or salt water
- It's best to store jewelry in its original box.
- Cleaning with a silver polishing cloth is recommended.
If a defect is due to a manufacturing error, the item will be replaced or repaired. Please contact us if you have any questions.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain the property of the company until full payment is received.
9. Liability for content & links and disclaimer
We are responsible for our own content on this website. We assume no liability for linked external sites.
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health.
We are liable for slight negligence only in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment is a prerequisite for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the customer may regularly rely. In these cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded. Mandatory statutory claims under the Product Liability Act remain unaffected.
Disclaimer in case of force majeure:
- No liability is accepted for delays or failure to fulfill obligations due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, war, strikes, power outages).
- In such cases, deadlines are extended by the duration of the disability.
- If the disruption lasts longer than 14 days, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract.
10. Dispute Resolution
We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Legal basis and place of jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is Pforzheim, provided the customer is a merchant. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
12. Amendment to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes apply only to future orders and do not affect contracts already concluded. Significant changes to the Terms and Conditions will be published on our website.
13. Storage of the contract text
We do not save the contract text, but it can be printed or saved before placing the order.
14. Final Provisions
Should any clause of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties undertake to replace such clause with a valid one that most closely approximates the intent and purpose of the invalid provision.
